Anupama 12th May 2025 Written Update

Anupamaa compares the story of Bhagirath to the quiet struggles women face, especially the right to choose motherhood. Her words upset Vasundhara, who accuses her of creating problems in the family. Prarthana supports Anupamaa and announces she’s ending things with Gautam, even though he begs her not to.

Tensions grow when Ansh, Mahi, Pari, and Ishani argue about Anupamaa’s role and Prarthana’s choices. Things get worse when Mahi accuses Ansh of being involved with Prarthana, leading to a heated fight.

Prarthana bravely tells the family that Gautam disrespected her and even tried to force himself on her. She says she’s ready to divorce him. Anupamaa challenges the Kothari family for defending Gautam. Vasundhara claims it’s their culture, but Anupamaa urges everyone to support Prarthana instead.

Parag stands by Prarthana, while Gautam lies and says she’s having an affair with Ansh. The Shah family watches all this with worry. Anupamaa exposes Gautam’s tricks with help from Rahi and Prem. Parag, angry at the situation, calls off Aryan and Mahi’s wedding. As a result, Anupamaa is asked to leave the Kothari home.

Even after being thrown out, Anupamaa stays strong and tells the Shahs that Prarthana now has to fight her own battle. Meanwhile, Gautam celebrates, not knowing that Rahi and Prem are planning to reveal his true face. Vasundhara and Parag still believe him—for now.
