Shruti discovers Anupama's secret recipe diary. She tells Prem that she found something important. She asks him to come to her room. He asks her why. She shows him the diary. She says that the diary contains Anupama's special recipes. 

She further says that if they get it, they will win the competition. Prem says that stealing is wrong. Shruti gets angry. She warns him that if he does not take the diary, people will call him a loser. She further tells him that he must act now. Prem decides to take the diary.

Prem goes to the Shah house. He sees Anupama busy in the kitchen. He asks Anupama where her recipe book is. She asks him why he wants it. He says that he wants to learn from it. She tells him that the diary is personal.

She further says that she keeps it in her cupboard. She decides to show him a few recipes later. Prem gets worried. He leaves. Shruti calls him. She asks him if he got the diary. He says no. She gets furious. She warns him that she will not tolerate failure. He pleads with her to give him more time. She tells him to go back tonight.

Anupama worries about the diary. She tells Hasmukh that someone might try to steal it. Hasmukh says that she should be careful. She decides to hide it. Prem returns at night. He searches the cupboard. He finds the diary. He takes it. Anupama sees him. She gets angry. She asks him what he is doing. He says nothing. She warns him that she will call the police. He leaves in a hurry.

Shruti reads the diary. She tells Prem that they will win. Prem worries about Anupama's reaction. He decides to return the diary. He goes to Anupama. He tells her that Shruti forced him. Anupama gets upset. She warns him that she will not forgive Shruti. She decides to confront Shruti.

She tells Leela about the theft. Leela says that Shruti must be stopped. Anupama rushes to the competition venue. She confronts Shruti. She asks Shruti to return the diary. Shruti says that the diary is now hers. Anupama warns Shruti that she will expose her. Shruti gets angry. She tells Anupama that the competition judge will only see the food. Anupama decides to cook from memory.

Precap: Anupama tells Shruti that she will not let her win by cheating. Shruti warns Anupama that she will destroy her reputation.
