The mehendi ceremony ends abruptly tonight. A police van stops outside the Shah house. Two constables enter. The inspector tells Anupama that a molestation complaint has been filed. He asks for Ansh. Anupama asks him to explain.

The inspector points to a girl standing near the gate. She says that Ansh misbehaved with her. Ansh gets shocked. He tells everyone that he has never seen her before. He pleads with the inspector to believe him.

The girl looks at Gautam. Gautam avoids her eyes. Leela notices the look. She asks the girl why she is staring at Gautam. The girl stays silent. Hasmukh tells the inspector that the girl seems scared. The inspector asks the girl if she wants to withdraw the complaint.

The girl looks at Gautam again. Gautam gives a faint nod. She tells the inspector that the complaint is true. Prem tells the inspector that something feels wrong. The inspector says that he must follow procedure.

The constables hold Ansh by the arms. Ansh struggles. He asks them to let him go. He calls out to Anupama for help. Prerna cries. She tells the inspector that Ansh is innocent. Anupama rushes forward. She warns the inspector that she will not let him take Ansh. The inspector tells her to move aside. Ansh shouts that he is being framed. The constables push him into the van. He bangs on the window. He yells for Anupama again.

Anupama runs after the van. She falls on the road. Leela helps her up. Anupama tells Leela that she will not let Ansh rot in jail. She further says that Gautam is behind this. She decides to go to the police station immediately.

She asks Prem to bring the car. Prem rushes to get it. Leela tells Anupama to stay strong. Anupama worries about Ansh. She tells Hasmukh to call a lawyer. Hasmukh says that he will arrange everything.

At the police station, Ansh is locked in a cell. He holds the bars. He calls out to Anupama. He says that he is scared. He further says that he does not understand why this happened. The constable tells him to stay quiet. Ansh sits on the floor. He feels alone. He worries about Prerna. He decides to wait for Anupama.

Precap: Anupama reaches the police station. She tells the inspector that Gautam framed Ansh. The inspector asks her for proof. She says that she will bring the truth out.
