Siddhu asks Sneha to sit beside him for the Satyanarayan puja. She agrees. He tells her that the ritual will bring blessings. Sneha tells him that she invited Shekhar to attend the puja. He feels surprised.

Shekhar enters the Thakur house. Durgavati sees him. She gets furious. She asks Sneha why Shekhar is present. Sneha tells her that she invited him because there is nothing wrong. Durgavati warns her that she cannot decide who attends family functions. She takes Sneha aside to a private room.

Durgavati tells Sneha that she doesn't fully understand the family's pain. She reveals that Madhu was once pregnant. She further says that Vimla pressured Madhu to terminate the pregnancy. Sneha asks Durgavati what happened then. Durgavati tells her that Shekhar's family is responsible for Madhu's suffering. She accuses Sneha of blindly supporting Shekhar. Sneha gets upset.

Sneha tells Durgavati that she didn't know this truth. She feels that she has been wrong about Shekhar. She decides to rethink her efforts to reunite Madhu and Shekhar.
