Sneha tells a companion in the kitchen that she is preparing kheer for Siddhu. She further tells the companion that she is leaving out dalchini because Siddhu is highly allergic to it. Purvi eavesdrops outside the kitchen door. She hears Sneha's words. She decides to use the information against Sneha.

Purvi calls an ally on the phone. She tells the ally that she will ensure Sneha is thrown out of the house. She further says that she will exploit Siddhu's allergy. She sneaks back into the kitchen while no one is present. She picks up the bowl of kheer. She adds cinnamon to the kheer. She places the bowl back on the counter.

Sneha brings the kheer bowl to the dining table during a family meal. She serves a spoonful to Siddhu. Siddhu eats the kheer. He immediately starts choking. He gasps for air. He collapses to the floor. The family gets shocked. A family member rushes to help Siddhu.

Durgavati asks what was in the kheer. A family member reveals that there was cinnamon in it. Durgavati gets furious. She tells Sneha that giving her a chance was a mistake. She further tells Sneha that she is completely unfit to be the daughter-in-law of the household.

Sneha pleads with Durgavati that she did not add cinnamon. Durgavati refuses to listen. She accuses Sneha of causing the life-threatening mistake. The family panics around Siddhu.
