Ganga asks the police to not arrest Durgavati. She tells them that Durgavati is innocent. She further tells them that Durgavati could never burn her Dhaba. The police step back. They leave the temple. Durgavati tells Ganga that she is grateful. Ganga tells Durgavati that she trusts her.

The police arrive at Durgavati's house. They tell Durgavati that they have an arrest warrant. Durgavati gets upset. She reminds them that Ganga defended her at the temple. The inspector tells her that a formal complaint was filed. He further says that they must follow procedure. Durgavati asks who filed the complaint.

Siddhu steps forward. He tells Durgavati that he filed the complaint. Durgavati gets stunned. She asks Siddhu why he did it. Siddhu tells her that the law should decide. Durgavati pleads with him to believe her. Siddhu tells her that he is torn but must do his duty.

Durgavati tells Siddhu that if he believes she is guilty, he should handcuff her himself. She further tells him to complete his duty. Siddhu feels emotional. He decides to handcuff her.
