The living room has balloons. Radha holds a confetti balloon. She tells Kinu that the cake has seven layers. Kinu wears a football jersey. He tells his friends that the party is special. A guest arrives. The guest asks Radha where Girdhar is. Radha tells the guest that Girdhar will arrive soon.

Another guest tells Radha that the cake-cutting time is near. Radha tells the guest that she is waiting for Girdhar. She feels that time is running short. She looks at the clock. A family member asks Radha to start without Girdhar. Radha tells the family member that Kinu wants his father present. She further says that she hopes Girdhar remembers.

Girdhar gets out of his car on a street. He shouts for Shanaya. He pleads with Shanaya to meet him. He runs along the footpath. He does not see her. He tells himself that he must find her quickly. He calls Shanaya’s phone. She does not answer.

Shanaya sits inside her car. She watches Girdhar from a distance. She tells herself that she will not meet him yet. She further tells herself that the party must be ruined first. She decides to wait. She does not respond to his calls. Girdhar continues to search. He forgets the time.

Radha looks at a family photograph on the wall. She prays silently. She tells herself that Girdhar should not forget Kinu’s day. She walks to the doorway. She waits. A guest asks Radha again where Girdhar is. Radha tells the guest that he is stuck in traffic. She feels that something is not right.

Girdhar calls Radha. He tells her that he is stuck in traffic. Radha tells him that Kinu is waiting. He tells her that he will try to reach soon. He ends the call. He continues searching for Shanaya. Radha tells Kinu that his father is on the way. Kinu asks Radha if his father will make it for the cake. Radha tells him to be patient.

Precap: Radha tells Girdhar on the phone that Kinu is waiting. Girdhar tells Shanaya that he needs to go home. Shanaya tells him that she will meet him only after the party is over.
