Reet sits on the floor next to baby Reyansh. She tells the baby that she is sorry. She further tells him that what she is doing might seem wrong. She says that a mother will knock on any door to find her child. 

She decides to pluck a strand of hair from the baby's head. The baby cries for a moment. Reet tells the baby to be calm. She further tells herself that the strand will prove the truth.

Vindhya enters the bedroom. She calls out to Reyansh. She asks him why he is all alone. Reet gets panicked. She decides to hide behind the long window curtains.

She further decides to stay completely still. Vindhya walks toward the baby. She picks him up. She tells him that someone was in the room. She feels that something is not right. She looks around the room.

Reet hides behind the curtains. She tells herself that the DNA report will expose everything. She further tells herself that she is certain the report will prove Reyansh is her biological son.

She decides to wait until Vindhya leaves the room. She worries about being caught. Vindhya feels that someone is hiding nearby. She decides to stay alert. She tells Reyansh that she will stay a little longer.
