A neighbor asks Radhika to tell everyone who tied the mangalsutra around her neck. Another neighbor asks her to explain why she kept it a secret from everyone. She further tells Radhika that she has brought disgrace to the whole locality. 

Radhika gets upset by the harsh words. Veer arrives at the scene immediately. He asks the neighbor to stop questioning Radhika right away. He further tells Radhika that he will always stand by her no matter what.

Vivek asks Radhika if Veer truly loves her. He further asks her why she never stopped him from tying the mangalsutra on her neck. Radhika gets upset with his insensitive questions. She tells Vivek to stop his mockery immediately. Srinivas gets furious at Vivek’s behavior. He warns Vivek not to humiliate Radhika in this very difficult time. Revati too asks Vivek to leave the room at once.

Champa’s mother returns to the house with anger. She asks Veer to confirm if he tied the mangalsutra secretly. Veer tells her that he did it without Radhika’s knowledge. She gets furious at his shocking admission. She warns him that he has ruined Radhika’s life forever. Veer feels responsible for the entire chaos. He decides to face Radhika’s entire family right now.

Veer’s father arrives at Radhika’s home. He tells Srinivas that he accepts Radhika as his daughter-in-law. Srinivas tells him that the family needs time to process everything. He further asks him to give them space. Radhika tells Veer that she is not ready for a decision yet. Veer pleads with her to trust him. She asks him to wait.

Radhika tells Veer that she is scared of society’s harsh judgment. Veer asks her to trust only him and ignore others. She tells him that she needs time to heal from the deep pain. Veer tells her that he will wait for her as long as it takes. He further tells her that he will never leave her side no matter what happens. She asks him to promise to always stand by her. Veer promises her that he will.
