Srinivas enters the house with a man. He tells everyone to gather in the living room. He says that the man has a confession. He asks the man to tell the truth. The man tells the family that he was following Varun’s instructions. 

He further says that Varun paid him money. Varun gets upset. He tells the man to stop lying. Srinivas warns Varun to stay quiet. The man pleads with Srinivas to let him go. Srinivas tells the man to leave. He turns to Varun and demands an explanation. Varun remains silent.

Meenakshi rushes into the house. She looks panicked. She tells the family that the money is counterfeit. She further says that the admission process has failed. Lakshmi asks her how she got the counterfeit notes. Meenakshi tells her that she does not know.

Lakshmi rebukes Meenakshi for lying again. She accuses Meenakshi of deceiving the family. Meenakshi pleads with Lakshmi. She tells Lakshmi that she has changed. Lakshmi tells Meenakshi that she cannot trust her. The family watches silently.

Lakshmi gets furious. She slaps Meenakshi hard. Meenakshi gets shocked. Dadi tells Lakshmi that she is proud of her. Dadi further says that Meenakshi deserved it. Srinivas tells the family that he supports Lakshmi’s decision. He says that Varun and Meenakshi needed a lesson.

Lakshmi tells Srinivas that the punishment is not over. She warns Varun and Meenakshi that they will face more consequences. Meenakshi starts crying. She pleads with Lakshmi to give her one more chance. Lakshmi tells her that words are not enough. Varun feels cornered. He decides to stay silent.

Lakshmi tells the family that she will ensure they learn from their mistakes. She says that she will make them face every lie. Dadi tells Lakshmi that she has her full support. Srinivas too assures Lakshmi that he will stand by her.

Meenakshi tells Lakshmi that she will prove her change. Lakshmi warns her not to make false promises. Varun leaves the room. He tells himself that he will not accept punishment. Lakshmi watches him leave. She feels that more trouble may come.

Precap: Lakshmi tells Srinivas that she will not forgive them easily. Varun tells Meenakshi that they must fight back. Meenakshi pleads with Varun to stop. Srinivas warns Varun that the law will be involved.
