Kunal arrives at the temple with his grandfather and grandmother. He parks his grandmother’s wheelchair near the entrance. He tells his grandfather that he will join the rituals soon.

He further tells his grandmother to wait quietly. His grandfather tries to speak but remains silent. He feels frustrated. Kunal tells him to rest. He then walks toward the prayer hall.

Raj and Bhoomika arrive at the same temple. Lakshmi and Srinivas accompany them. Bhoomika tells Lakshmi that she wants to pray for the family. Lakshmi tells her that she will join the aarti. They all walk inside. Raj tells Srinivas that the temple is peaceful. Srinivas agrees. They move toward the main sanctum.

Kunal sees Raj and Bhoomika from a distance. He feels surprised. He tells himself that he did not expect to see them here. He notices Lakshmi and Srinivas standing beside them. He decides to observe from a distance. He worries that an awkward meeting might occur.

Kunal’s grandfather sees Lakshmi near the sanctum. He recognizes her immediately. He tries to call out. He feels that his voice fails him. He gets upset. He waves his hand. His grandmother notices his distress. She asks him what happened. He points toward Lakshmi. She looks but does not recognize. She tells him to calm down.

Lakshmi bows before the deity. She prays silently. She does not see the grandfather. Srinivas asks her to sit for the aarti. She agrees. The grandfather struggles to rise from his wheelchair. He feels desperate. He tries again to speak but only mumbles. Kunal returns.

He asks his grandfather what is wrong. He further asks him why he is so restless. The grandfather points at Lakshmi. Kunal looks at the woman but fails to understand. He tells his grandfather to relax. He decides to take them home after the puja.

Precap: Kunal asks Raj about Lakshmi’s past. The grandfather tries again to communicate. Lakshmi feels a strange uneasiness. She decides to leave early.
