Lakshmi and Srinivas attend a festive gathering. A widowed friend welcomes them. She tells them that she feels lonely without her husband. She further says that children cannot replace a life partner. She prays that Lakshmi and Srinivas stay together forever. Srinivas feels uncomfortable. Lakshmi manages a smile.
