Today's Mann Sundar 1 Aug 2026 Written Update begins with police officers bringing Ruhi and Nahar to the hospital. The doctor examines them. He says their condition is highly critical and they might need blood. The inspector tells the doctor to begin the treatment quickly. 

Soon, the family members arrive at the hospital. They cry in panic. A family member asks the nurse about Ruhi and Nahar. The nurse informs them that both patients are inside the operation theater in a very serious condition. A lady cries continuously and blames herself for this accident. Another family member consoles her.

The police inspector approaches the family to investigate the accident. He questions a young boy who was present during the accident. The boy tells the inspector that a car was driving in a zigzag manner. He says that the zigzag car crashed into their vehicle.

The inspector asks the boy if he remembers the car model or the driver's face. A lady scolds the inspector for questioning a frightened little boy. The inspector explains that checking fresh memory is important to catch the culprit.

Inside the hospital, a strange old woman in a veil enters the ward pretending to be a patient with poor eyesight. She approaches Ruhi when she regains consciousness. The doctor and inspector come to take Ruhi's statement.

The old woman stops Ruhi from speaking the truth. The inspector asks Ruhi who hit their car. The old woman gives Ruhi a pleading look. Ruhi lies to the inspector. She tells him that she does not remember anything about the accident.

The inspector leaves. The old woman cries and thanks Ruhi. She reveals that her young grandson was driving that car illegally. She begs Ruhi not to ruin her grandson's life by telling the police. Ruhi stays silent.

Later, the visiting hours end, and the family waits outside the ICU. Inside the ICU, Nahar slowly opens his eyes. He is in extreme pain. Nahar drags himself out of his bed. He slowly walks into Ruhi's room. Ruhi cries seeing Nahar. She says her only wish was to die as his wife. She tells Nahar to take care of their children. Nahar cries and says he cannot live without her. Nahar says they promised to stay together forever.

Nahar says if destiny cannot let them live together, they will die together. He holds Ruhi's hands with deep love. Ruhi says they will stay together even in the darkness. They both say I love you to each other one last time.

They hold hands and look into each other's eyes. Slowly, Ruhi takes her last breath. Nahar cries in agony. Soon after, Nahar also closes his eyes and passes away beside her.
