The children play outside. Ruchita tells Ruhaan that she needs to get flowers. Ruhaan decides to go instead. He leaves. He does not return for a long time. Dadi rushes inside. She tells the family that Ruhaan is trapped in a car full of smoke. The family decides to rush outside.

They see the car. They decide to break the window. They decide to pull Ruhaan out. Nahar tells Ruhi that Ruhaan is not responding. They decide to rush him to the hospital.

At the hospital, Ruhi asks Dadi how she knew Ruhaan was inside the car. Dadi tells her that her motherly instincts alerted her. She further taunts Ruhi that she does not truly care for the kids. The doctor arrives. He tells the family that smoke has damaged Ruhaan’s heart and lungs. He further warns that the next 24 hours are critical.

In the hospital corridor, a nurse tells Dadi that she knows her five-year-old secret. Dadi warns the nurse to quit her job and disappear. The nurse demands monthly payment. She warns Dadi that she will expose the truth otherwise. Ruhi walks past the room. She hears the argument. She feels that Dadi and the nurse share a suspicious connection.

Ruchita feels guilty. She prays to God. She tells God that Ruhaan went to do her chore and is now in danger. The doctor returns. He tells the family that Ruhaan’s condition is improving. He asks Nahar to keep Ruhaan under observation overnight. Nahar decides that only Ruhi will stay.

Ruhi sits beside Ruhaan. She prays for his recovery. She worries about where the smoke came from. She further worries about how Dadi knew. She hears familiar voices from the hallway. She decides to check. She feels her doubts growing stronger.

Precap: Ruhi sees the nurse talking to Dadi. She asks Dadi who the nurse is. Dadi tells her that she is just a staff member. The nurse looks nervous.
