Malti sees Aparajita returning home late at night with Rakshit. She gets angry. She asks Aparajita where she went at this hour. Rakshit tells Malti that today is his birthday. He further says that Aparajita came to attend his celebration. 

Malti gets furious. She asks Aparajita whether she wants a divorce from Lalit only to roam around late at night with another man.

Malti turns to Rakshit. She tells him that he comes from a wealthy family but his actions are cheap. She further tells him to be ashamed for roaming with a married woman at this hour. Rakshit tells Malti that the party was innocent. Malti warns him not to make excuses. She tells him that he should know better. She further asks him to leave immediately.

Aparajita tells Malti that she has done nothing wrong. Malti gets more upset. She warns Aparajita that she is bringing shame to the family. She further tells her that she will not tolerate such behaviour. Aparajita tells Malti that Rakshit is only a friend. Malti tells her that no friend stays out so late with a married woman. She pleads with Aparajita to think about her reputation.

Aparajita tells Malti that she is tired of restrictions. Malti warns her that this attitude will ruin her life. She further tells Aparajita that Lalit will not accept this. Rakshit tells Malti that she is misunderstanding everything. Malti tells him to stay out of family matters. She warns him that if he comes near Aparajita again she will call the police.

Rakshit leaves. Aparajita gets upset. She tells Malti that she will not give up her freedom. Malti decides to inform Lalit. She feels that Aparajita must be stopped. She worries about what the neighbours will say.

Precap: Malti calls Lalit and tells him about Rakshit. Lalit gets angry. Aparajita tells Malti that she will continue to meet Rakshit.
