Mansi tells Meera that she saw a shadow. She grips Meera's arm. She further tells her that the shadow looks like Rajnandini's spirit. Meera tells Mansi that they invented the story to frighten Anu. 

She further tells Mansi that the plan has backfired. Mansi feels that something is wrong. She tells Meera that they must stop. Meera feels that they are losing control. She asks Mansi to stay calm.

Arya gathers the family in the living room. He tells Meera that she has made a grave mistake. He further tells her that using Rajnandini's name to manipulate Anu was wrong.

He says that he is disappointed in both Meera and Mansi. Mansi tells Arya that she did nothing. Arya warns Mansi that he knows the entire plot. He further tells her to not deny it.

Arya tells Meera that she has no empathy. He says that she stomped on someone's feelings. He tells her that he never expected her to fall so low. Meera feels that she cannot respond.

She stands in shock. Mansi too feels humiliated. Anu watches from the corner. She feels relieved.
