Vasudha and Santosh reach the food department office today. Santosh asks the officer to approve the food license. The officer tells her that the work will not move forward without something extra. He further hints that money is required. Vasudha gets upset. She asks the officer why honest people are forced to pay bribes. Santosh decides to expose the officer.

Santosh gets upset. She decides to offer Vasudha’s mangalsutra as a bribe. She tells the officer to take the mangalsutra. She further asks him to issue the license immediately. A crowd rushes to the spot. She tells the crowd that the officer is demanding a bribe.

The officer gets nervous. He feels that the public will complain against him. He decides to back down. He tells Santosh that he will process the license without any bribe. Santosh asks him to give it in writing. The officer tells her that he will give it in writing. Vasudha tells Santosh that the plan worked.

Brij decides to contact Chandrika. He tells her about the incident at the food office. He warns her that Santosh and Vasudha are gaining public support. He further says that every hurdle makes them stronger. He feels that the situation is serious. Chandrika gets thoughtful.
