Chandrika asks Vasudha about her decision regarding the partnership offer. Vasudha tells her that she will not decide alone. She further tells the family that Santosh is her business partner and mentor. She says that the final decision belongs to Santosh. Chandrika asks her why Santosh’s permission is needed. Vasudha tells her that the business exists because of Santosh’s support.

Santosh arrives. She hears about Chandrika’s offer. She tells Vasudha that she does not trust Chandrika’s intentions. She warns that if Chandrika becomes a partner, people will credit the Chauhan family for Vasudha’s success. She further tells Vasudha that her hard work will be overshadowed. She advises Vasudha to reject the offer. Vasudha asks her to consider the benefits of Chandrika’s experience. Santosh refuses.

Vasudha gets upset. She tells Santosh that Chandrika is her inspiration and guide. She further says that Chandrika’s guidance can help the pickle business grow. Santosh worries that Vasudha will lose her independent identity. She tells Vasudha that she struggled to create her own name. She pleads with Vasudha to not accept the partnership. Vasudha tells her that she feels torn. Santosh leaves the room.

Dev finds Vasudha sitting alone. He asks her what she will decide. Vasudha tells him that she must choose between love and independence. He tells her to follow her heart. She tells him that both Santosh and Chandrika are important to her. He asks her to speak to Santosh again. Vasudha decides to take more time to think. She worries that her business may suffer without a clear direction.

Vasudha returns to the family room. Chandrika asks her again about her answer. Vasudha tells her that she needs more time. Chandrika tells her not to take too long. Hanumant asks Vasudha what Santosh said. Vasudha tells him that Santosh is against the partnership. Hanumant says that he trusts Santosh’s judgment. Vasudha feels more confused. She decides to speak to Santosh again tomorrow. She further tells herself that she must choose wisely.
