Dadi calls Chandrika to her room. She tells Chandrika that if she wants her to undergo surgery, she must fulfill one wish. She says that she wants to see Vasudha’s Griha Pravesh before treatment. 

She insists that Vasudha should receive full rituals as the Chauhan daughter-in-law. She further says that only then will she agree to the operation. Chandrika gets stunned. She asks Dadi to reconsider. Dadi tells Chandrika that this is her final condition.

Chandrika rushes to the temple. She prays. She asks God why fate placed her in this difficult position. She admits that Vasudha has never received the respect of a daughter-in-law. She further prays for a way to save Dadi and give Vasudha her rightful place. She feels guilty. She sees devotees performing self-punishment. She decides to pick up a whip. She begins striking herself.

Vasudha returns to the temple. She sees Chandrika hurting herself. She gets upset. She rushes to Chandrika. She pleads with Chandrika to stop. She tells Chandrika that this is not the way. Chandrika tells Vasudha that she is guilty. Vasudha warns Chandrika not to harm herself. She decides to take the whip away.

Vasudha tells Chandrika that Dadi’s health is more important. She further says that she will talk to Dadi. Chandrika pleads with Vasudha to forgive her. Vasudha tells Chandrika that she never blamed her. Chandrika feels that she failed as a mother-in-law. Vasudha helps Chandrika sit down. She assures Chandrika that they will find a solution.

Precap: Vasudha tells Dadi that she will not force the Griha Pravesh. Dadi insists that it must happen. Chandrika prays for strength. Dev learns about Dadi’s condition.
