Vasudha arrives at the temple. She decides to leave behind her life with the Chauhan family. She tells herself that her journey ends here. Chandrika rushes into the temple. She tells Vasudha to stop.

She further tells Vasudha that she has found a way to fulfill Santosh’s last wish without putting Prabhat in danger. Vasudha asks Chandrika to explain the solution.

Chandrika tells Vasudha that both of them will have to face a major test together. She further tells her that they must convince Santosh her condition has been fulfilled while protecting Prabhat from the Kundali dosh. Vasudha asks Chandrika if this is a plan.

Chandrika tells Vasudha that it is the only way to save the family. Vasudha feels that the plan might work. She decides to trust Chandrika. Chandrika asks Vasudha to return to the house as the elder daughter-in-law.

Santosh tells Dev that she has only one wish left. She further says that she wants to see Vasudha accepted as the Badi Bahu before her surgery. Dev tells Santosh that he will try his best. Chandrika enters the house with Vasudha. She tells the family that she has accepted Vasudha as the elder daughter-in-law. She further tells Santosh that her wish is fulfilled. Santosh feels relieved. She tells Chandrika that she is grateful.

Dev gets surprised. He asks Chandrika if she is serious. Chandrika tells Dev that she has realized her mistake. Vasudha tells Santosh that she is happy to be accepted. Santosh tells everyone that she is now ready for the surgery. Vasudha worries about the plan being discovered.

She tells Chandrika that they must be careful. Chandrika warns Vasudha that one mistake could expose the truth before Santosh’s operation. She further asks Vasudha to play her role perfectly. Vasudha decides to stay alert.
