Raghav arrives at the temple. He meets the priest. He tells the priest about Reet's condition. The priest tells him that a severe penance is required. He says that Raghav must complete 511 parikramas with a kalash on his head. Raghav agrees. He picks up the kalash. He further holds the baby in his other arm. He starts walking around the deity.

Raghav walks barefoot on the gravel path. He feels sharp pain. He worries about Reet. He continues the parikramas. The priest chants mantras. Raghav feels exhausted. He decides to keep going.

A family member calls Raghav's mother. She asks about Reet's condition. The mother tells her that Reet remains critical. She further says that Raghav is performing penance. The family member feels hopeful. She decides to pray.
