Srinivas asks Vivek and Varun who will take care of Lakshmi after he is gone. Vivek gets angry. He rises from the table. He tells Srinivas that he will not answer such a question. He leaves the dining area. Varun remains silent. 

Lakshmi feels that her sons have no comforting words. She looks at Srinivas with worry.

Lakshmi asks Srinivas what is troubling him in the courtyard. Srinivas tells Lakshmi that his darkest fear is that she may have to stretch her hands before others to survive after his death. Lakshmi gets upset. She tells Srinivas that he should not speak of death.

She further tells him that he will be fine. Srinivas feels that the emotional burden is still there. He tells Lakshmi that he cannot stop thinking about her future.

Bhoomika rushes into the courtyard. She tells Lakshmi that she heard everything. She further tells Lakshmi that she will care for her till her last breath. She promises that she will never abandon the parents. She holds Lakshmi’s hands.

Lakshmi feels comforted. Bhoomika tells Srinivas that he should not worry. Lakshmi and Bhoomika embrace. Srinivas watches and feels hopeful.
