Colors TV bringing another new show, and this time its a love story with a bit different angle. Show called "Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar", its a romantic drama and its being made by Dice Media. Show gonna launch soon, though exact date not announced yet and timing also not disclosed till now.

Who's in the cast

Female lead of the show is Aditi Dev Sharma, playing character of Preeti. Preeti is in her mid-thirties and she went through a failed relationship, now she trying to rebuild her life again. Promo shows her struggling with heartbreak.

Male lead is Daksh Puri, playing Aarav. Aarav younger than Preeti in age, in promo he seen riding a bicycle, and when Preeti's sandal breaks he is the one who comes to help her. Interesting part, Aarav also the younger brother of Preeti's friend.

Poonam Jangra playing a neighbour, and Niddhi Tiwari also plays neighbour role — Niddhi's character taunts Preeti about not getting married at right age.

What's the story

Story is about an older woman and younger man who fall in love with each other. Society judges them for it, and their families may not accept the relationship easily. Show basically explores if age really matters when it comes to love.

In promo, Preeti seen walking on road, upset over her broken relationship. Thats when Aarav comes on his bicycle and stops to help her. Preeti surprised and asks why he came back. Aarav tells her he always been close to her.

After that Preeti asks Aarav what kind of girl he likes. Aarav says he wouldn't like someone at 25, but he could fall for someone at 35 if she got good heart. This creates an awkward moment between them.

People also saying show inspired by Korean drama "Something in the Rain", which also had similar story of older woman and younger man. Colors TV hasn't officially confirmed this though, but fans still comparing the two.
