Anu enters the bedroom. She tells Arya that she found a sacred mangalsutra. She asks him if he recognizes it. Arya asks Anu how she got the mangalsutra. 

Anu tells Arya that she found it in a drawer. She further tells him that it belongs to Rajnandini. Arya gets upset. He tells Anu that the mangalsutra is from his past.

Anu tells Arya that she had a nightmare on Kaal Ashtami. She further tells him that she saw a mysterious girl in the forest. She further tells him that this time she saw Arya standing beside her.

She tells Arya that she heard him calling out the name Rajnandini. Arya feels that he cannot speak. He decides to remain silent. Anu pleads with Arya to tell her the truth. She worries about his silence. Arya stands frozen.
