Majisa tells Chandrika that the pooja must stop. Chandrika asks Majisa why she is stopping the ritual. She further tells Majisa that she is the Badi Bahu. Majisa says that Chandrika is no longer the Badi Bahu. She further says that Chandrika has become a mother-in-law. Chandrika gets upset. She tells Majisa that the tradition is being broken.

Majisa tells the family that Vasudha is the new Badi Bahu. She insists that Vasudha perform the pooja today. Chandrika tells Majisa that she has always performed this ritual. Majisa warns Chandrika that traditions change with time. Vasudha feels surprised. She asks Majisa why she is being given this role. Majisa tells Vasudha that it is her duty as the Badi Bahu.

Vasudha tells Chandrika that she does not want to take her place. Chandrika tells Vasudha that the decision has been made. Vasudha pleads with Majisa to let Chandrika sit. Majisa warns Vasudha that refusing will insult the family. Vasudha decides to sit for the pooja. She further tells Dev that she hopes Chandrika will understand. Dev tells Vasudha that she must respect Majisa's order.

The pooja begins. Vasudha performs the ritual. Chandrika stands in a corner. She feels that she has been replaced. She tells herself that Majisa has taken away her role. She further decides to not create a scene.

Majisa watches the pooja. She tells the family that the new order is established. A family member tells Chandrika to accept the change. Chandrika tells the family member that she needs time. Vasudha completes the ritual. She asks Chandrika for her blessings.

Chandrika tells Vasudha that she may have sat but she has not won her trust. Vasudha gets upset. She tells Chandrika that she never wanted to hurt her. Chandrika tells Vasudha that she feels betrayed. Vasudha pleads with Chandrika to not misunderstand. Chandrika decides to leave the room.

Vasudha worries about the rift. Majisa tells Vasudha to focus on her new responsibilities. Dev tells Vasudha that time will heal the wounds. Vasudha feels helpless. She tells Dev that she will try to mend things. Dev tells her to stay patient.
