She says she is aware her kundali has become a deadly curse for his life. Prabhat gets surprised. He asks Vasudha how she learned this secret. Vasudha tells him that she overheard a conversation. She feels that she is inauspicious for him.

Vasudha tells Prabhat that she believes her fate is harming him. She further tells him that she cannot bear this guilt. She says she has decided to sacrifice herself to protect him. Prabhat pleads with her to not speak such words. He tells her that life is not a game. Vasudha tells him that she will not change her mind.

Vasudha tells Prabhat that if death comes for him, it will take her life first. She vows to stand between him and any danger. Prabhat gets upset. He feels that he cannot let her sacrifice herself. He tells her to think again. Vasudha tells him that her love for the family is absolute. She leaves the room.

A servant overhears the conversation from outside. She worries about the prophecy. She decides to inform Chandrika. She rushes to Chandrika's room. She tells Chandrika what she heard. Chandrika feels worried. She decides to talk to Vasudha immediately.

Chandrika meets Vasudha in the hallway. She asks Vasudha what she told Prabhat. Vasudha tells Chandrika that she will protect the family at any cost. Chandrika warns her that fate cannot be avoided. Vasudha tells Chandrika that her love can defeat any curse. Chandrika remains silent. She feels that a major test is coming.
