Jhende feels that his secret is about to be exposed. He decides to leave the room. Arya asks him to explain his strange behaviour. Jhende tells Arya that he is simply tired. Arya asks Jhende to show him what is in his hand.

Jhende tells Arya that the paper is an account statement. He asks Arya to not read it. Arya warns Jhende that he will not let him hide things. Jhende pleads with Arya to not take the paper. Arya decides to take the paper from Jhende. The paper slips from their hands and falls to the floor.

Anu enters the room. She sees the fallen paper near her feet. She notices that the paper is addressed "To Arya". She looks at Arya with a questioning expression. Arya feels that he has no words.

Jhende gets upset. He tells Arya that the truth is dangerous. He further warns Arya that he must not go to that place. Arya tells Jhende that he will go no matter what. Anu asks Arya what the note is about. Arya tells Anu that it is a personal matter. Anu worries about the secret.
