Srinivas tells Lakshmi that she went to the police station despite his warnings. Lakshmi tells Srinivas that she went for Revati’s sake, not for Vivek. She further tells him that Revati’s grief was too much to bear.

She pleads with Srinivas that they need 5 lakh rupees for Vivek’s bail. She further pleads with him to arrange the money from his PF savings. Revati feels that the situation is desperate. Srinivas feels overwhelmed.

Raj asks Kunal about his presence in the house. Kunal tells Raj that he stopped by to check on Lakshmi aunty on his way to the hospital. Raj tells Kunal that he had no idea Kunal shared such a close relationship with the family.
