Prabhat tells Majisa that her operation was completely successful. He further tells her that everyone is happy. Majisa feels relieved. She smiles gently. Dev tells Vasudha that the surgery went well. Vasudha tells Dev that she is grateful. Chandrika too feels relieved. The family shares a moment of happiness in the hospital room.

Vasudha returns to the Chauhan house. She approaches Chandrika in her room. She tells Chandrika that Dadi Sa has recovered and returned home safely. She further tells her that the time has come to drop the curtain on their fake act.

Chandrika asks Vasudha what she means. Vasudha tells Chandrika that she wants to free her from the burden of forcefully accepting her as the daughter-in-law. She further says that she will walk away.

Chandrika gets stunned. She tells Vasudha that the decision is sudden. Vasudha tells Chandrika that she cannot live a lie any longer. She further tells her that she wants to end the forced marriage. Chandrika pleads with Vasudha to think again.

Vasudha warns Chandrika that the fake relationship is over now that Majisa is safe. She decides to leave the room.

Dev enters the house. He finds Vasudha packing her bag. He asks Vasudha what she is doing. Vasudha tells Dev that she is leaving. She further tells him that she told Chandrika about ending the fake act. Dev gets upset. He pleads with Vasudha to not leave.

Vasudha tells Dev that the truth cannot be hidden anymore. She further tells him that she must free everyone from this pretence. Dev feels torn. He decides to talk to Chandrika.

Precap: Dev tells Chandrika that Vasudha is serious. Chandrika tells Dev that she does not know what to do. Vasudha leaves the house with her bag. The family watches in shock.
